Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge that we live, work and play on Ngunnawal Country colonized as Canberra ACT Australia. We pay our respect to the Ngunnawal People as the traditional custodians of the land, and recognise any other people or families with connection to the lands of the ACT and region. We offer our deepest thanks and gratitude to the Elders past, present and emerging for their continuing culture and their sharing of their culture, for their care for Country and for the ongoing contributions they make to the life of this city and this region.

Always was, always will be.

We acknowledge and welcome all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and Indigenous Peoples across the planet who may be reading this substack.

About us

JamPac-Ed (said jampacked) is Pam Andrew and Jackie Neill, two teacher colleagues, sister friends, deep thinkers and keen amateur anthropologists. We merged our names and called ourselves JamPac-Ed because we are literally jam packed and bursting at the seams ready to share what we call Somascience: somaplasticity, somatic communication and our applied experiential learning in the lived experience — the four Y choice points.
